It Pays to De-Clutter

Sometimes a reward can motivate us to clear out space. Whether the reward is space itself to relax and be at peace or if extra cash in your pocket is more your kind of reward.

I like to remind my Triangle clients that every item in your home was created to BLESS you in some way and when it is no longer blessing you, it has become a BURDEN.

The greatest way to honor that item that once blessed you or never did bless you (a gift you didn’t ask for or an item you inherited), is to release it to someone else that could be blessed by it.  Some items just need to be donated but others could bring you easy cash.

Decluttr is a company that buys used movies, games, technology, textbooks and more.  You just ship the items to them with their label and they pay the postage and send you a check the day after they receive your items.  If donating your items seems too painful, consider selling them to give you cash to buy items that could bless you now.
I have a Chapel Hill client who has sold quite a bit to Decluttr and is very happy with their financial reward along with the extra space they created in their home as well.

It can pay to de-clutter!
